Quality from ISO Certification Services

Recently changed and we are now in the changeover period where both the old and new versions are acceptable. It was called ISO 9001:2000 and is now ISO 9001:2008. If you have the old version you will need to think about upgrading to the new one, we can help with that. It is the most commonly required standard, and in place at around 1 million organisations worldwide.

More and more it is becoming a requirement before you can even get on a tender list for local authorities and blue chip organisations. In reality the term quality means “fitness for purpose” in this context. So quality doesn’t necessarily mean finest, it means most realistic. For example, if you are stuck in a desert what would be the most appropriate? A glass of fine wine or a glass of water, so as far as the standard goes in this case it’s water that wins.
